Bird Ecuador has been in operation since 1,996 but its roots go much deeper. San Isidro and Guango Lodges manage ecological reserves that have been under their protection since the first colonization of Ecuador’s upper Amazon, way back in the 1,950’s. Bird Ecuador was created to facilitate and streamline the services that we offer both at our lodges, and to the rest of this magnificent country. Our office staff has over 40 years of field birding experience and office management.
